How long does it last?
When applied correctly to a dry surface, the adhesive backing is designed to stay in place for months, and in many bathrooms it can last up to a year. Lifespan depends on how often the toilet is used, how cold the water is, and how aggressively it is scrubbed.
How do I clean it? Will it go mouldy?
The Pee Patch is made from durable PVC vinyl that is mould‑resistant and chemical‑proof. It is “self‑cleaned” with every flush and can be scrubbed with your normal toilet brush and bleach or toilet cleaner as part of your usual routine.
What if it gets dirty, stained or has poo on it?
Every flush gives it a rinse, but for anything that sticks you can just scrub it like the rest of your toilet with a brush (or partners toothbrush) and use bleach. This removes marks and helps keep it smelling fresh without needing to remove or replace the patch.
Is it hygienic to have something stuck in the bowl?
Yes, it is made to live inside the bowl and withstand constant contact with water, cleaner and urine. Because it is scrubbed and flushed with the rest of the toilet, it does not require any special extra cleaning steps.
